Can I bring a date/plus one?
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate the # of guests that were included on your invitation. If you received a +1/guest, it will be listed on your envelope/RSVP card.
Are kids invited?
Heck yes. We've taken our favorite littles into consideration with the guest count.
What is your preference on gifts/do you have a registry?
Celebrating our big day with you is the only gift we need. However, for those who are interested, we've set up a cash fund on the registry tab to go towards our honeymoon and help pay for a down payment on our first home. We'd be grateful for any contributions, big or small. Since we're getting married a bit older, we've each amassed a fair amount of home basics and buying a home is at the top of our wish list! For those who have requested more traditional gift/experience options, we've also included a few of those items on the registry.
If you do want to go the more traditional route, we'd love if you would consider using the registry to ship it directly to Seattle. For those of you flying in, we hope this prevents you from schlepping with a gift/being forced to check a bag- and selfishly, it helps us cut down on our checked bags on our trip from Memphis back to Seattle! :)
What is the dress code? Any colors we should avoid wearing?
As long as you don't show up in a white dress, you're golden!
We'd love to see you in whatever makes you feel good- think cute date night not black tie gala (unless you've been dying to break out your ball gown/coat and tails- then by all means, go for it).
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, we will have an open bar at the reception. We trust folks to have a good time without getting messy and recommend grabbing an Uber/Lyft or identifying a designated driver ahead of time.
Are the venues ADA compliant?
Both the ceremony and reception venues are ADA compliant! Please feel free to let us know if anyone in your party will need additional assistance and we can flag to the on-site team.
I'm a nursing mom- will there be a private area for my needs?
Yes! There are private areas at both the ceremony and reception venues. While the reception is primarily outdoors, we've also rented the library at the Metal Museum which has a number of private spaces that can serve as a nursing/pumping room.
What is the parking situation at the ceremony/reception?
St. Mary's has a dedicated parking lot as well as street parking nearby.
There is free street parking at the Metal Museum.
How far apart are the ceremony/reception?
Both the ceremony and the reception are located within downtown Memphis. Depending on traffic, they're about 10-15 minutes apart by car.
What is the nearest airport?
Out of town guests should fly into Memphis International Airport (MEM).
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive by 1:45 PM to ensure you have enough time to park and get settled into your seat.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
-The ceremony will be indoors at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
-Weather pending, the cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the lawn of the Metal Museum. The reception will be outdoors in a covered tent at the Metal Museum (with indoor bathroom options).
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
Please make sure to note your dietary restrictions/allergies when you RSVP. We'll make every effort to ensure you have solid options that take your needs into consideration.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please make sure to RSVP by February 1. This will allow us to give an accurate count to our vendors in time to meet their deadlines.
